Trends: Butterflies

I’m not one that goes with trends. I love my clean and simple style and I’m not a girly girl so I had stayed away from butterflies. Well I’ve had this wedding photo of me in the Butterfly Garden and figured it might be cute to add a few. (I went a little crazy) I found the image for the Martha Stewart Classic Butterfly punch and imported it into SCAL2. I cut a lot of butterflies more then you see here. Each of these butterflies are 2 layers with a solid under them and , but my scanner squished them all. As did my page protector so I didn’t really think about that when making it, but I think it still turned out quite cute. Not what I had planned when I started it, but I think it still turned out nicely for my first butterfly layout.

I used Basic Grey’s Lemonade 6×6 pad for all the pp and Doodlebug letters.  Of course my Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher to put the butterflies together.

Are there any trends you like, dislike, or would love to see me feature?

Thanks for reading and Happy Crafting!
